The musicians on this record are some of the greatest people I've ever known. They each allowed themselves to let their guard down and play through this record in its entirety without ever hearing it before. Which the exception of rumbas and turntables. Those were done ahead of time and sequenced in album order. All overdubs after the initial sequencing were recorded from start to finish of the album. Blind to what was to come next.
The acoustic guitar and vocals were recorded outdoors under a beautiful oak tree.
